JOB SUMMARY
The Workshop Marketing & Activation Senior Executive is responsible for driving brand visibility, engagement, and commercial activation across Motul’s workshop and service center network nationwide.
This role translates Motul’s brand strategy into strong on-ground execution, ensuring consistent brand standards, impactful workshop activations, and measurable business growth. The position works closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, and distributors to strengthen workshop partnerships, enhance customer experience, and improve sell-out performance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Workshop Activation & Brand Execution
• Plan and execute workshop-level marketing activations aligned with Motul’s annual marketing calendar
• Oversee installation and maintenance of POSM, signage, shop branding, and visibility assets
• Ensure compliance with Motul global and regional brand guidelines
• Drive consistency of brand presence across priority workshops nationwide
2. Workshop Engagement & Loyalty Programs
• Support design and rollout of workshop engagement initiatives (loyalty programs, mechanic incentives, certification programs, promotions)
• Monitor participation rates, program ROI, and business impact
• Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance program effectiveness
3. Field Execution & Channel Development
• Conduct regular field visits to evaluate execution quality and identify improvement areas
• Act as key marketing contact for workshop-level support and activation
• Partner closely with Sales team to prioritize strategic workshops and maximize ROI
• Strengthen long-term relationships with key workshops and distributors
4. Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
• Track KPIs including workshop participation, activation results, brand compliance, and visibility coverage
• Benchmark competitor workshop programs and market trends
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance workshop experience and mechanic engagement
• Drive continuous improvement in workshop marketing standards
5. Budget & Resource Management
• Support annual workshop marketing budget planning
• Ensure effective cost control and ROI optimization
• Manage vendor coordination for production and installation of marketing materials
KEY INTERACTION:
Internal: Sales Team, Marketing Team, Technical team, Finance, Supply Chain
External: Workshop Owners / Garage Partners, Mechanics / Technicians, Distributors, Vendors
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in trade marketing, channel marketing, field activation, or workshop-related business
- Experience in automotive, lubricant, FMCG, or B2B distribution business is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of workshop / garage ecosystem is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong coordination, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Data-oriented with ability to track and interpret activation results
- Willingness to travel frequently nationwide
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
As the role is based in Thailand, native-level Thai proficiency is essential to ensure effective communication and coordination with local teams, customers, and external stakeholders. Good working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required, as English is widely used in Motul’s international business environment.
