JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for executing all transactions related to purchases, payments, and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy, proper recording, and timely processing.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports to support management decision-making.
  • Manage fixed assets, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
  • Handle all banking processes efficiently and effectively.

 

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Accounting

  • Oversee all transactions related to purchases and accounts payable.
  • Record purchases and costs, including posting invoices and processing MIRO in SAP.
  • Manage payments to all related parties, including international transfers.
  • Handle fixed asset management, including maintaining the FA listing and posting depreciation.
  • Monitor inventory values and stock provisions, including running GRIR clearing processes.
  • Ensure timely monthly tax submissions, including input VAT and withholding tax.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions, including performing revaluations in SAP.
  • Post month-end journal adjustments.
  • Liaise with external parties such as suppliers, banks, and the Revenue Department.
  • Participate in workflow improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Reporting

  • Prepare accounts payable (AP) aging reports.
  • Generate monthly inventory reports.
  • Monitor perishable and obsolete inventory.
  • Create monthly cash flow projections.

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Holds a degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in auditing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly proactive with strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Possesses a growth mindset.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
